To just apportion love within the confines of romance is not liberatory.” How do you support, shine on, and lift up your friends? How do you show your love and commitment to them? How much intimacy and deep connection is present in your friendships? Do you rely on each other? Build life plans together? To me this lion represents the significant and powerful potential of friendship.
